Mission Statement

The Pioneer Historical Society of Bent County (PHSBC) exists to promote the overall history and culture of Bent County so that it can be experienced by a multigenerational audience. PHSBC endeavors to offer historical and cultural programs that will highlight the importance of Bent County on the growth of our state and nation. PHSBC supports the preservation of historical sites in Bent County that interpret the cultural and architectural history of the region.
